Clay House is a Jacobean building, a fine example of the vernacular architecture of the Seventeenth Century.
It is set in a beautiful rural park in the village of West Vale at the start of the Calderdale Way footpath, two and a half miles from the centre of Halifax.
Clay House is hired as a whole, making it an ideal venue for ceremonies and receptions, banquets, training sessions or any variety of formal or informal events. It is licensed for civil ceremonies.
Terraces and gardens in front and to the side of the House make great backgrounds for photographs and places to enjoy the views across the Park
