- PREMIUM GRADE ERI SILK: Eri is also called Peace Silk or Ahimsa Silk—it is harvested after the silk caterpillar emerges from its cocoon as a moth, allowing it to live a full life cycle. All the great properties of silk, with the added bonus of being 100% cruelty-free!
- AT A GLANCE: 2 Ounces (50g) — Natural Undyed Red Eri Silk — Avg. Staple Length: 6 inches (150mm)
- DYEING: Eri is un-dyed - this is the natural color of Red Eri Silk. It is much prized for it's beautiful coloring which could be best described as glossy bronze. Red Eri Silk produces rich deep tones when overdyed.
- FELTING: Use in combination with wool to add softness and shine to your next felting project.
- SPINNING: This glossy silk can be spun on its own or blended with virtually any other fiber.
